The Simple Woman's Daybook

FOR TODAY January 12, 2009...

Outside My Window...There is darkness with a bit of moon light and the sound of an occasional car or two going by here and there.

I am thinking...I better finish this quickly so I can get in the bed, 5:30 comes early in the morning.

I am thankful for...
-What Jesus did on the cross for me & suffering & dying for my sins
-Wonderful parents who've provided me with the necessities of life & so much more(I'm very spoiled :p)
-An amazing fiancé who encourages me in my walk with the Lord
-A loving church & members to worship & fellowship with
-Good health & a sound mind
-Christian blogger friends who I've known & met over just a short period of time
-Jesus himself & all that God is for us in Him because He is our great reward, nothing less

From the kitchen...I smell the yummy aroma of popcorn that I fixed earlier. I like my popcorn slightly burnt so sometimes the aroma ain't so nice afterwards :p

I am wearing...Comfy jammies as well as my piggy slippers

I am creating...A 2009 mini calendar and some homemade notebooks where I got the idea from Kwernerdesign.com and Heartland Paper Co. Below this post I posted some pics of what they'll look.

I am going...With my dad tomorrow who has to have a heart catherization. By the way thank you to everyone for all your thoughts, prayers, e-mails and kind words. My family and I greatly appreciate it.

I am reading...Two very good books that I recommend to everyone. One is called Radical Womanhood by Carolyn McCulley the other one is called Becoming God's True Woman by Nancy Leigh Demoss.

I am hoping...That my dad's procedure goes well tomorrow and if they do find something that its minor and not major and something that can be treated.

I am hearing...Two siamese cats playing up and down the halls with their new toys. They love to tear up stuff during the night and sleep ALL during the day.

Around the house...There's always laundry to be done and pets to be fed. Although I do have to admit the house is pretty clean. Mom and I try to clean if not every saturday most of them.

One of my favorite things...Is to smell clothes just as I get them out of the dryer and putting on warm socks or clothes as they come out of the dryer too :)

A Few Plans For The Rest Of The Week:If all goes well with my dad, going to a revival, school stuff, shopping with a friend, church, and post office.
